Hello “the artists and thinkers”, I just had to tell you that I love your cartoons, I only wish that you had been around when our children were younger, all that angst

about “competition”.You should read the article by Joanne Black on the back page of the latest Listener,it sums it all up.

I find them really light hearted and quite funny. I would like to give some feedback however regarding the way the cartoon can sometime promote broken up families. Like the most recent one I saw “”having to have a word with your ex””…To me it says that its ok to be broken up. no doubt this is a reality for some. I don’t believe that we should promote it as an option for married couples or couples with children. What that does is say “”its alright to live in a microwave generation where instant satisfaction is above all. when something is broken just walk away, dont bother fixing it””. I don’t believe that’s quite right. You have my email. I hope to hear back from you soon. Thanks.”
