Love the cartoons.
‘Experiencing false alarms’ reminds me of long haul car trips from Port Hedland to Perth when my kids were small. Pre-schooler son could easily clear a crowded room at times, and we often did stop the car and encourage him to ‘do number two’, so this cartoon re-creates fond?? memories. Please include me on your book list.

I don’t think we will be, but we are on Stuff. A new Little Things appears everyday – just go to ‘Daily Fix’ in the sidebar – enjoy!
Would love to buy The Little Things
Could you please publish on Amazon in Kindle format, or put a .mobi downloadable version for sale on this website.
P.S. The “Comments” link on the contact page doesn’t go to the comments page.

We’ve got two books available Damon – take your pick or buy both! (Lots do…)
Re the “comments” link- maybe you just need to wait a second for the page to load… we’ve double-checked from this end and all is fine. We appreciate the heads-up though- much appreciated!
So succinct
I discovered these “little things” in the newspaper and just fell in love with them. So succinct and totally recognisable situations to have been in at one time or another. My grandchildren are reminding me of such times experienced with their parents! Though this time around it’s a lot funnier! Thank you for your observations and lightheartedness.

Thanks for your comments, Gail. Aren’t grandchildren wonderful?
another hilarious instance
I’m sad that Rachel found the cartoon offensive to all fat people. I thought it was simply another hilarious instance of young children’s total innocence and naivete and inexperience. I CLEARLY remember my total embarrassment at one of my toddlers calling out excitedly on a bus, “Ooooh look mummy- that man’s got no hair!” Besides being embarrassing, It was also a great opportunity for teaching my children about accepting differences, and about good manners!
